How Email Contact WorksIf you selected Email as your preferred contact method when publishing your ad, visitors can contact you directly using the Reply button displayed on your listing.
Your email address remains hidden on the ad and is not publicly displayed to users.
How Will I Receive Replies?When someone sends a message through your ad:
- The user clicks the Reply button on your listing.
- Oklute forwards the message to the email address associated with your ad.
- You receive an email notification in your inbox.
- The sender's message will be included in the email.
Make sure to check your inbox regularly, including your spam or junk folder.
How to Reply to MessagesTo respond to an inquiry:
- Open the email notification you received.
- Click Reply in your email application (such as Gmail or Outlook).
- Write your response.
- Send the email as you normally would.
Your reply will be delivered directly to the person who contacted you.
Will the Recipient See My Email Address?Yes. When you reply to a message via email, your email address becomes visible to the recipient.
If you prefer not to share your email address, consider using an alternative contact method when creating your ad.
