How to Edit Your Ad
Follow these steps to update your listing:
1. Log in to your Oklute account.
2. Open the Your Ads section from your dashboard.
3. Locate the ad you want to update.
4. Click the Edit icon.
5. Make the necessary changes.
6. Save your updates.
Your changes may be reviewed before appearing publicly on the platform.
What Can I Edit?
You can update the following information after your ad has been published:
• Photos
• Ad Title
• Description
Keeping your ad up to date can help improve visibility and engagement.
What Can't Be Edited?
Some details cannot be changed after publication.
Phone Number
Phone numbers cannot be edited on an existing ad.
If you need to use a different phone number, you may need to create a new ad or follow the options available in your account.
Category
Categories cannot be changed once an ad is published.
If you selected the wrong category, create a new ad and choose the correct category during submission.
City
Cities cannot be changed after publication.
To publish in a different city, create a new ad using the correct location.
Active Promotions
Promotional settings may not be editable while a promotion is active.
If you need different promotional settings, wait for the current promotion to end or create a new ad with the desired options.
Common Issues
I can't find the Edit button
Make sure you're logged into the account that was used to create the ad.
My changes aren't showing
Changes may require processing or review before becoming visible on the platform.
I need to change my category
Categories cannot be edited after publication. Create a new ad with the correct category.
I need to change my city
Cities cannot be edited after publication. You'll need to create a new listing with the correct location.
I need to change my phone number
Phone numbers may be restricted from editing after publication. Contact Oklute Support if you need assistance.
