To maintain a safe and compliant environment on Oklute, certain types of contact information are not allowed in listings. This includes usernames or IDs from external messaging applications like Telegram or others.

This article explains what is allowed, what is not allowed, and why this rule exists.

Can I Include Telegram or Other Messaging App Usernames?
No. It is not permitted to include usernames, user IDs, or contact handles from messaging apps such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, Messenger, or similar platforms within your listing description or Title. We recommended only entering a dedicated contact field.

This restriction applies to all sections of a listing, including the title, description, images, and any additional text fields.

Why Is This Not Allowed?
This rule is in place to protect users and maintain a safe and controlled platform environment. By restricting external messaging app details, Oklute helps reduce the risk of unwanted contact, misuse of personal information, and potential security issues.

It also ensures that all communication starts within the platform’s approved systems and guidelines.

What Happens If I Include Messaging App Usernames?
If a listing contains Telegram usernames or references to external messaging applications, it will be considered a violation of Oklute’s policies.

Depending on the severity or frequency of the violation, the following actions may be taken:
•    Removal of the listing
•    Temporary restrictions on the account
•    Suspension or permanent disabling of the account in case of repeated violations

Oklute reviews all listings to ensure compliance with platform rules and may take action without prior notice when necessary.
