Is It Allowed to Use a Nickname or Stage Name in My Ad?

Oklute allows users to publish ads using a nickname or stage name instead of their real name. This helps maintain privacy while ensuring listings remain clear and recognizable to users browsing the platform.

This article explains how the nickname field works and what rules you need to follow when setting it.

Can I Use a Nickname in My Ad?
Yes. You can use a nickname or stage name when creating your listing on Oklute.

During the ad creation process, you will find a dedicated field called “Nickname”, where you can enter the name that will be publicly displayed on your listing.

What Is the “Nickname” Field?
The nickname field is a required part of the ad creation form. Without completing this field, you will not be able to publish your listing.
The name you enter in this field will be shown to users on the platform and will represent your profile across your ad. You can use your ideal nickname upto 20 characters.

What Rules Should I Follow When Choosing a Nickname?
Your nickname should be clear, appropriate, and compliant with Oklute’s Terms and Conditions. It must not contain offensive, misleading, or inappropriate terms.

There is also a character limit of 20 characters, so your stage name should be short and easy to recognize.

Choosing a simple and professional nickname helps improve trust and makes your listing easier to identify.
